Careers and futures
We want to assist our young adults to get training, so we give them a place to live while in school and have created a new fund specifically for post high school education.

What they're studying:

  • Leticia - Languages to be a translator
  • Jesús (Chuy) - Aquaculture
  • Costs
For one year of university education, it currently costs around $6,000 for one teen. (Costs vary depending on the program chosen.) For a breakdown of monthly expenses, click here.

    Accountability
Post high school education is a privilege. We want our kids to be responsible for their schooling - their grades and funds. You can read the Contract and Guidelines we have set up for our students. You can also read the El Sauzal Foundation's handling of the funds.

    More information
If you have any questions about sponsoring the education of our kids, contact Roy Ketring.

Please note: When donating for education, feel free to specify that it is for "College" or "Higher Education", but do not put the name of the student. If you specify an individual, per IRS form 526, your donation is not tax-deductible. Thanks!
