Please understand the following when making a decision to provide support: How your donations are applied :
Your help will not go directly to the child, but will be used to fund the daily operations of the Orphanage, helping all of the children. Historically, of donations directed to the Orphanage about 95% of the money goes directly to the orphanage, with about 5% being used by the El Sauzal Foundation, Inc. for communication, fundraising and other operating expenses.

Sometimes our children are returned to their parents, their family or leave the orphanage for a variety of other reasons. (Read about how the children are brought to El Sauzal.) If this happens, we will contact you to see if you would like to sponsor another child.
