This back-to-school season, you can help give our students more than an education—you can help give them a future and a hope.

EVERARDO WAVES —proud of displaying his warrior artwork at the school’s Art Exposition.
At El Sauzal Home, back-to-school season is more than just backpacks and pencils—it’s a new chapter of hope.
For many of the 17 kids living at the Home (including our staffs’ sons and daughters), school wasn’t always a part of life. Many have experienced trauma, instability, or neglect. All of our children have walked through deep and personal loss. Some arrived never having attended school. Others had fallen behind. But today, they are stepping into classrooms with confidence.
This fall, 15 of our kids are heading back to school. And they’re not just learning math and reading—they’re growing in confidence, discovering talents, and experiencing a joyful, normal childhood.
Two of our middle schoolers, Melanie and Everardo, proudly exhibited their artwork in a school art exposition.
During Children’s Crazy Week, our kids joined in the fun with crazy hat day and dress-up day—becoming doctors, teachers, chefs, and even historical heroes!

PUBLIC SCHOOL WITNESS: Everardo shares the Bible verse, “The Lord is with me like a mighty warrior.”
Through education, they’re learning life skills like communication, teamwork, imagination, and goal setting.
But education is expensive. Most of our schoolchildren come from families who couldn’t afford tuition, uniforms, or transportation—especially for those with special learning needs.
Because of the care and support of people like you, they have a chance to thrive. Your gift makes moments like these possible. When you support El Sauzal, you’re not just covering school costs—you’re investing in futures filled with possibilities, purpose, and hope.
