On March 10 in Mexicali, the capital city of Baja California, we received our license to operate in an official ceremony. El Sauzal’s Home was the first institution to receive a license from the new government, which is why El Sauzal was featured in the news. INTREGA DIF OPERATION LICENSE HOME HOME FROM SAUZAL A.C.

In Baja California there are 102 institutions serving an average of 2,200 girls, boys and adolescents. Operation license number 77 was delivered.

MEXICALI, B. C., March 10, 2020.- In order to recognize the work of those who provide love and care for the most vulnerable children and adolescents of the entity, the System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF) in Baja California, delivered Operation License No. 77 home for Children in need of El Sauzal, A.C. in the port of Ensenada.

The Director General of DIF, Blanca Fabela Dávalos, reported that the legal representative of the institution, Erika Espinoza Barrios received this important document that will allow her to start operating immediately, for the benefit of 16 girls and boys assigned by DIF BC.

In the entity there are 102 institutions serving an average of 2,200 girls, boys and adolescents, where 77 already have their operating license, of which 39 are in the process of renewal, so The Act on Private Social Welfare Institutions for Girls, Children and Adolescents are being complied with.

From the beginning of the administration of Governor Jaime Bonilla Valdez proceeded to have constant communication with each of the home houses of the entity, to know first hand the conditions with which these institutions operate, in order to ensure the smooth operation of them.

Fabela Dávalos, mentioned that DIF is in collaboration and State Civil Protection Coordination who will offer 3 Training Courses to private social assistance institutions, with the aim of supporting and offer the facilities to obtain their Operation License or renewal of the same one.
